2021 Academic All-American Program

 

Purpose of Program

· To reinforce that players are first and foremost STUDENT athletes.

· To encourage players to learn how to balance responsibilities at home, school, and extracurricular activities.

· To place importance on grades, citizenship, and community involvement within the framework of our baseball program.

 

Eligibility

ALL GRADE GUIDELINES WILL BE UPHELD. PLEASE DO NOT APPLY UNLESS YOU MAKE THE GRADES!

· All players participating in Rohnert Park Cal Ripken and North Bay Babe Ruth Baseball Leagues are eligible to apply.

· Must complete an Academic All-American Application.

· Carry a grade point average of 3.0 or higher. No D’s or F’s.

· Schools that do not offer a GPA report card must reflect scores of 3 or higher, S+, or O.

· Provide proof of grades/scores from current year-end report card.

 

Any player meeting the above criteria and wishing to apply for this prestigious, well-earned recognition must turn in a completed application and an unaltered copy of current year-end report card to the Academic All-American Coordinator no later than June 30th, 2021. An awards recognition event will be held at a date and time to be announced.
